Environment

Starting in 2022, we began calculating our greenhouse gas emissions so we can accurately track and report our YoY performance. Since then, we've formalized our data collection, tracking, and management processes for our greenhouse gas emissions and continued investing in solar power production at our facilities.

S&S takes a collaborative approach to providing and maintaining a safe work environment for employees. We aim to build a culture where all employees contribute to and take ownership of their safety, and we ensure we are providing employees with the tools they need to complete their jobs safely. We've also implemented several policies to create a safe work environment. Learn more here.
How are you creating a transparent supply chain?
We utilize a Supplier Code of Conduct that outlines our standards for each suppler and requires a signature every two years.
Are you tracking your Greenhouse Gas Emissions?
Yes! We annually measure and report our Scopes 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
Do you have a plan to reduce your energy use or emissions?
S&S Activewear's energy management strategy centers around adopting renewable energy, driving energy efficiency, and implementing sustainable distribution practices. In service to this strategy, we have implemented solar panel systems in 6 of our 12 distribution centers and at our corporate headquarters.

Yes, we've included environmental clauses in our Supplier Code of Conduct and Internal Code of Conduct.
What data privacy programs do you have in place?
As a trusted leader in the wholesale apparel space, your data security is very important to us. We've created several policies including cybersecurity and information security, as well as backup and disaster recovery processes.

Our Lockport, IL facility is LEED Certified. A LEED certification provides a framework for buildings to be healthier and more energy and cost-efficient, which offer environmental, social, and governance benefits.
